Literacy in the EYFS
Literacy is a vital area of learning in the Early Years Foundation Stage, helping children develop the skills they need to read and write. Through storytelling, phonics, mark-making, and sharing a wide range of books, children build a love for language and begin to understand how sounds and letters work together.
We provide a rich literacy environment where every child is encouraged to explore books, express ideas through writing, and develop early reading skills in fun, engaging ways.
